Landscapers London - Prices

Obviously it is not possible to give fixed prices for all the different aspects of landscape gardening work we do as every garden is different. There are two main factors to take into consideration when trying to estimate the cost of the landscaping work you are proposing.

 The first of these is CLEARANCE, if the site has a lot of existing paving, brickwork, soil etc..., that need to be demolished, removed and disposed of before the landscaping can start, then the finished garden would cost more than a similar garden that started with a level blank canvass.

 The second factor is ACCESS, it is easier, quicker and therefore less expensive if heavy materials/waste can be wheeled in/out of the garden through a side gate as opposed to carrying them carefully through the house.

The prices below are for guidance only and assume that there is reasonable access and the clearance has already taken place. A free written Quotation for any landscaping work including the clearance can be give after a site visit.

Paving (per square metre)

Indian Sandstone paving.............................................................£110

Limestone paving........................................................................£130

Reclaimed York stone paving......................................................£180

Other paving stone up to 50mm thick........................................£ 90  + the cost of the stone.

All paving is laid over a compacted sub-base of M.O.T. on a 50mm layer of concrete. The gaps in between the stones are then pointed with sand and cement mix of suitable colour.

Brickwork          (per    linea metre)   

9 inch thick (2 bricks wide) wall 1.2 m high......................................£250

A 9 inch thick wall 0.6m h...............................................................£150

  All brick work is laid on a concrete foundation that is the correct depth/width for the size of the wall. 

Decking (per sq m)

Treated softwood decking................................................................£ 90

Hardwood decking............................................................................£125

All decking is laid on a sub frame of treated 4x2 timber supported by 3inch posts set in concrete.

Fencing

 An 8 meter long panel fence 1.83 m (6 foot) high .......................................from £650
